A 1992 car! That makes me feel quite old, but really there's more than a hint of hot air in that particular description, IMO. I'm surprised it wasn't in a barn... Didn't that Airline Augusta used to be described as being bodied by John Charles? If I'm not mistaken then this is a new and slightly worrying manifestation of the 'Goodwood effect'. Love the JC coachwork from the front....but they lost the plot on the rear! As for the Airline, someone slap me......hard.......love it!!! I tried to find out in the early eighties for some of those involved but no one could remember. Similar Dilambda and Astura bodies were shown in the Frosdick book photos from the John Bowers archieve.
