Interested in your definition. Surely the Flamina precedes the 'modern era' being commissioned by Gianni Lancia to replace the Aurelia? Although produced during the Pesenti era it wasn't a Fessia design (and not front wheel drive like it's stable mates). Always kind off makes it the last of the 'old' Lancias in my mind? Post by: Parisien on 08 November, 2012, 09:24:40 AM Neil, perhaps my cut off point was a bit arbitrary......so we'll redefine it to the last of the "old" Lancias then.....:)

I can see that, but it didn't have sliding pillars so that kind of makes the Appia the last of the 'old' Lancias. Beautiful engineering though - Lancia at it's best.Title: Re: Is this the most desirable, modern era Lancia currently on sale in the UK? Post by: neil-yaj396 on 09 November, 2012, 07:25:24 AM Charles
Hadn't thought of the sliding pillars, design wise it probably stands alone and could be the first of the 'new'. Neil |
