Post by: MaciekPeda on 19 January, 2013, 10:56:09 PM
Hi !
I am already put together my Aprilia rear suspension and i have two question related to this assembly:

1. Modern equivalent for rear wheels bearings

2. Did yours know, how repair wrong bearings in links between rear spring and control arms ? Or must i look for better ones ? See picture.

Kindly regards

The bearing in the spring retainer I think is phosphor bronze bush which could be done in a lathe, don’t know if Cavalitto has them as new.

The wheel bearings for you car, which I seem to remember is 2nd series, shown on the TAV below .
6 = p/no. 48349 is a RIV 4AANO. As far as I can see there is no modern equivalent, maybe a second series owner can help here?
7 = p/no 49054 is a NF205 double row roller bearing which seems to readily available.

A modification I did was to fit grease nipples to the parts as shown in the attached photo.
