Interesting Title: Re: Modified Aurelia Post by: DavidLaver on 23 January, 2013, 10:48:05 AM Has something of a Mini Marcos / Midas look about it - and not in a good way. What it does do is look right without bumpers. To my eye a B20 without them looks bulky from the rear and not quite right from the front. As for the temptation to stray from standard my old one looked a bit better without bumpers when the wheel arches "slipped a bit" up the wing as the ride height dropped - breakdown in communication your honour - the intention was to keep it just as the factory made it - ahem. "Somehow" the arches got flared as well, must have been from the tyres rubbing. Even so I liked it better with the bumpers on and a standard car at standard height on standard wheels and tyres all the more. The inspiration looks to me to have been an S1 Flaminia Zagato. It's a bit hard to be sure from the photos, but it looks as if the roof has been lowered (not mentioned in the dealer's description) and the car also seems to have tinted (S4) glass. A conversation piece, for sure. I prefer it to the Pichon Parat car; the modification are a little bit better integrated.
