Title: Brooklands AutoItalia Day May 4th (bank holiday Saturday) 2013 Post by: lancialulu on 03 March, 2013, 09:44:02 AM Anyone organising? Neil has done a splendid job in the past - I wonder if he can do so this year and get a special theme of Fulvia 50 going as a precursor to Goodwood!!!
I would be up to attend. Tim Title: Re: Brooklands AutoItalia Day May 5 (bank holiday Sunday) 2013 Post by: fay66 on 03 March, 2013, 01:38:46 PM Anyone organising? Title: Re: Brooklands AutoItalia Day May 4th (bank holiday Sunday) 2013 Post by: sparehead3 on 04 March, 2013, 11:36:17 PM Tim, you need to modify the TOP posting title (which you can do as you created the thread :)). I've done it for you and put in in the forum calendar. It's also in the www calendar page (of course). I may go to this too, all things well - but in the Fiat as it's going to be a little easier (and cheaper)....

Title: Re: Brooklands AutoItalia Day May 4th (bank holiday Saturday) 2013 Post by: kernow on 07 May, 2013, 08:16:09 PM Great day out and amazing drive home to Cornwall on Sunday, blue skies, quiet A303, cracking weekend. Over 500 mile round trip, car didn't miss a beat. Think the hill climb might be past its sell by date.
Cheers Chris Title: Re: Brooklands AutoItalia Day May 4th (bank holiday Saturday) 2013 Post by: fay66 on 08 May, 2013, 12:31:30 AM Great day out and amazing drive home to Cornwall on Sunday, blue skies, quiet A303, cracking weekend. Over 500 mile round trip, car didn't miss a beat. Think the hill climb might be past its sell by date. I didn't watch the performance on the Hill, just as well as I'd have winced badly if I'd seen the Ferrari 360? with a lot of daylight under his wheels, after failing to slow down or brake, if nothing else it sounded expensive, but I haven't heard or seen anything about the damage it must have received. Cheers Chris Sounds like a great drive home though and amazing just how many enjoyable miles you can drive in a Fulvia in a day, my best to date in my 2c was batting across Central Spain from Salamance to St Jean pied de Port something like 400+miles.
