Cool ! Thank you very much Tim - I'll update the events calendar this lunchtime and it'll be on the *website this afternoon .... (the web will hear it second) ... (although if you search the web using Google then our Forum is usually up at the top of search results - which must say something too)
*update has now happened: it's on the website, planners, etc ....

Unless I'm wrong the AGM Weekend clashes with Le Mans Classic. Bugger!
-
Yes, and the Tour de France in Yorkshire.
-
I see in the February V/L that the booking form is "...in Viva Lancia and downloadable on our Forum"?
-
The form will be on the forum at the weekend when I return from France. I did not want to issue in advance of the hard copy, which I understand has come out with this month's VL as scheduled.
Tim Heath - 2014 AGM Rally organiser.
-
Herewith the form.
I specifically asked Jack to insert in this Feb VL so I can understand why people are asking for it. I can only apologise for this.
-
Thanks Tim!
-
Just a reminder that due to the contract the club has with the Cambridge Belfry, the closing date is mid April so get your applications if you do not want to be disappointed.
Many thanks
Tim
-
Half the rooms are now taken. Please book to avoid disappointment.

Tim,
What's the programme for Saturday and what time does the first thing (AGM ?) start ??
Thanks,
Martin.
-
Can somebody else reply as I am sans VL in the south of France!!!!
Thanks
Tim
-
I've found the programme for Saturday in VL, but it doesn't say anywhere what time the AGM starts !
I guess it must be on the formal notice of the AGM but I can't find that.
Does anybody know ??
Thanks, Martin.

Lets say c 10.30am

As of today's post I only have one room left for Saturday night. I am trying to lever more out of the hotel. Email me if you want a room.
Thanks
Tim

I am pleased to announce I have a further 5 bedrooms for Friday and Saturday.
When they are gone they are gone!!!
Please email me if you want to reserve. Cut off date is tomorrow (but if not sold out will extend if necessary).
Tim
-
Closing date is today.
HOWEVER... I have 2 further rooms for Friday/Saturday courtesy of the hotel.
with 45 rooms sold on the Saturday already why not join this party of Lancisti?
Also I need to remind that if you want to just turn up on Saturday that's fine, but if you want to dine and hear Sn. Tonti tell about his time leading the Lancia Racing Department....then you need to book that too.
Tim

What's the availability and cost like for the Gala dinner?

I was hoping to get to the AGM on Saturday for the concours, however other commitments have had to take priority. This leaves me with a dilemna- I have two trophies to return, the LMC Hi Fi Award for the faithful ownership & regular use of a Lancia & also The Stewart Challenge Shield for Masterclass winner.
I was thinking of sending them directly to the Belfry hotel but am reluctant to pop them in the post (even registered) at this late notice and would be distraught if for some reason they do not arrive so my question is, is there anyone from the North West whom I can drop them with one evening to take to Cambridge. Please call me on 07955 702389 if this is a possibility.
I will be in Warrington all day tomorrow, will be at home in Chorley for the evening (after 6pm) but am prepared to travel up to an hour each way to drop of with someone. Same goes for Thursday pm. I will be in the Rochdale area on Thursday & Friday day if this helps.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Paul.

Our thanks to Tim and Sarah and everyone else for a lovely weekend in Cambridge. As always, it's great to meet up again and enjoy a couple of days in a nice place. Jack was 'Jack' on Friday night and the Saturday Gala Dinner was great food and our guests. Wrest Park was another great find and suitable ending to the weekend.
Thanks all and see you next year :)
Steve&Claire
If anyone has any pictures for the LMC website then please email to events@lanciamc.co.uk or you can upload yourselves through the database (I've stuck a couple on there).

Thank you to everyone who was involved in the organisation and implementation of the AGM.
I only managed to make a day trip on Saturday, but it was immediately evident that a lot of professionalism and a huge amount of effort had been put into a hugely enjoyable day. The venue was great, easy to access and plenty of space for those who had arrived in a Lancia and also for mere mortals like me who had arrived in an 'other'!!!!!
The AGM was interesting with several well made points and observations. The talk by Giovanni Virgilio was both illuminating and entertaining (note to self, MUST go to Fobello!!) and the book has gone from my 'wants' list to my 'must have' list.
Thank you again to everyone involved, I am more determined than ever to get my B20 finished and also to solve my Appia knock!!
Andy
PS does anyone know of a RHD Flaminia Touring for sale, what a beautiful car!!
-
Many thanks to all those who helped make for a truly great Lancia weekend. Yes, it was sad that there were so few cars on display but those that were on show were much appreciated by members and public alike.
The hotel (apart from the lamentable lack of bar staff and high prices) was very good and the Italian visiting speakers an excellent choice. The attached photo is a JPEG of the Gala Dinner Menu front cover by Mark Lima which of course blew me away! :)
All in all most enjoyable although Modestine was a bit of a naughty girl once or twice, particularly on the journey home.
Robin.

An absolutely great event :D So good to meet up with old friends and make so many new ones.
A slideshow of my photos taken over the weekend can be seen at http://s1237.photobucket.com/user/TheoKyriacou/slideshow/LMC%20AGM%202014?sort=9 (http://s1237.photobucket.com/user/TheoKyriacou/slideshow/LMC%20AGM%202014?sort=9)

Thanks for those Theo........your bucket is quite a sight!

It would have been worth going to the dinner just to get the menu!!! Mark, that is an absolutely stunning piece of artwork.

Great set of photos - in particular the house and gardens - for all the "words" about it within a couple of pictures I was blown away by the scale and quality of the place.
The red Fulvia Zagato was my favourite. Good to see a Beta Coupe looking good in brown - its time has come.
Stunning artwork on the menu. I've yet to go to a dinner, including the one when I was due to collect a trophy from Sir Stirling Moss. This one was in ink in the calendar until a 25th wedding celebration with me as "designated driver" trumped it.
The talk and slide show at the AGM itself was an unexpected benefit and I for one would enjoy that sort of thing again. It was also a privilege to finally meet Jack Romano, I'd hoped to come up the Friday night (but failed...) so it was a delight to find him still there.

Thanks for those Theo........your bucket is quite a sight!
Thank you Frank. And that's just one of many "buckets" ;D But maybe I should rationalise my buckets and get rid of old office pictures and building refurbishment photos and have "car only" buckets ;D
-
Sorry Theo, meant buckets......a full evenings browsing there.....:)

A huge thank you to all involved in putting together this years AGM, the guest speakers were brilliant. My first AGM I bought my 2 boys along (2 & half / 9 months old) their first introduction to the club and the great cars that are Lancia. Here is the Facebook link to Tony Harrison superb picture album where he captured most if not all of the cars present. Nice one Tony!

For once I wasn't the one in the 1300 Beta Coupe. Pity I missed it, is the owner of YEG738T here on the Forum? Do you know that there are potentially only four or five left in the UK?
-
Fantastic weekend. Many many thanks to all you guys who put it together. Nice to see Jack on Saturday. Great to meet so many people and put faces to names. Thanks also to Tony Harrison for the great pics. I've taken the liberty of using the one of my Beta Spyder on my forum id. Hope you don't mind Tony, it's better than any I've taken! These meetings always get the enthusiasm going again. Hope to have my newly acquired Beta Coupe 2000 mot'd next week.
Excellent speakers on Saturday although the ladies on our table seemed a bit bemused with the after dinner speakers. I think they got it a little bit after some explanations.
Kind regards to all
