Title: Roger Albert Clark Rally
Post by: peterbaker on 09 November, 2013, 08:57:14 AM
Two Lancias are competing on this years Roger Albert Clark Rally (RAC for short). the Stratos of Steve Perez and the Fulvia of the Graham brothers. The event started with six night stages in Dalby near Pickering and I hear Perez crashed, damaging the car, but the service crew are trying to repair ready for today (Saturday). The Fulvia survived the night. I'm waiting at Duncombe Park for the first cars through SS7 and SS8. will post some pictures tomorrow. The Rally finishes on Sunday after a total 23 stages that include a long run through 'Killer' Kielder.

Sadly Steve Perez retired but continued to entertain the spectators by acting as Course Opening Car

The Graham brothers won their class. It was rough through Duncombe Park, Yorkshire.

And the Stratos of Steve Perez. Plus the winner. Guess what? It was an Escort, driven by Steve Bannister. Images copyright www.retro-speed.co.uk.

Good quality photos Peter,

Is Steve on opposite lock or understeering? Good win by a good  driver anyway.

Killer Kielder - brings back memories !

Though I am led to believe that they were to only competitors in their class.
