Title: Silverstone Classic 2014 - Bertone Parade Lap Post by: neil-yaj396 on 26 November, 2013, 06:14:10 PM The Fiat X19 Owners Club are currently negotiating with the organisers to undertake a parade lap to mark the centenary of Bertone's birth. They have kindly invited the participation of our club if we wish.
It would certainly be nice to field a Stratos if this goes ahead. I am told that Bertone's only other contributions are an Aprilia Coupe and the B51/52 Aurelia. Are there any of these around? Crawling around, and stop starting is not my idea of fun.

Personally, it was a real thrill to be actually able to drive the Grand Prix circuit - both the old layout and the new layout. True, there was some waiting and a bit stop start but I did get up to 70mph doing the laps (both of them). It all added to the day and did make it feel really special. If I was offered the chance then I'd happily do it again ....
