But as my wife has to work in the morning on Friday we won't be able to set off until midday, excluding us from a lunchtime meet :-[ But I'd gladly pick up a convoy from the South going to Wales after lunch if possible. On the other hand, I doubt if others will want us to join the convoy and be forced to slow down to Trevi Auto speeds for the rest of the way... ;D ;D

They are quite different animals, but both very impressive. The coupe is lower, harsher and nippier all round, but remarkably fast for a 1.3 anything, while Nigel's is much more refined and comfortable, so would be a lot better for long journeys. It's amazingly rattle free for a Zagato car and a credit to its owner. I was half expecting the headlining to be as it was on my old 1.6 Zagato, somewhat droopy, but that wasn't the case! By the way, the rally was excellent and the hotel only charged £2.80 a pint! Roll on next year's. Regards, John |
