David Title: Re: MG single seater special Post by: Tony Stephens on 27 March, 2014, 01:29:28 AM Looking at the name of the driver, I am wondering whether that is the Pierce MG resurrected by Julius Thurgood some years ago and then seen at various historic racing events in recent years, most recently in the hands of James Willis. It look a bit different now with a low nose.
I think it had an Aprilia rear end, which suggests that the front was Aprilia. You can see pictures of it on the web but there are so many extra dampers, links etc that it is a bit hard to be sure. I leave that to photo anoraks with plenty of time. It was never an ERA beater in spite of the picture!
