Title: Badge engineering Post by: DavidLaver on 05 April, 2014, 02:44:23 PM Just to be contentious for the fun of it - if Lancia as a badge had died with the Fiat takeover what could the cars "Lancia" made beyond that have been badged as? The Monte could easily have been an X20 for example, Integrales could have been Abarths. I struggle more with the luxury end: coachbuilder names? tie-ins to brands outside of the car world? how prominent was Belini's name on those Prismas? David |
