Title: Flavia and Ferrari Post by: Jay on 11 July, 2014, 08:06:02 AM I always made the connection, but I never realised it was that close
http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/other-italian-cars/151561-lancia-ferrari-together.html They look like they might share the same glass, especially all the side and rear. Title: Re: Flavia and Ferrari Post by: DavidLaver on 11 July, 2014, 11:02:19 AM Close enough to wonder what the Lancia would look like with the Ferrari rear lights. Is it the same Ferrari that the 2000 looks close to or is there another? David Title: Re: Flavia and Ferrari Post by: Jay on 11 July, 2014, 11:19:16 AM Maybe the original Flavia design was meant to have similar looking rear lights, with Pininfarina having second thoughts as the cars would have almost identical from behind. I always thought the Flavia rear lights looked a bit of a compromise, compared with others from the same era.
Title: Re: Flavia and Ferrari Post by: Richard Fridd on 11 July, 2014, 11:26:21 AM Is it a 250 or 330 GTE? There are seperate rear lamps on the cars I have seen around.

It's a 250 GTE there never was a 330 GTE although there was a 330 GT 2 + 2 Doug Crowther had a 330 on this years Sliding Pillar Rally his Astura being out of action. Pictures are of my 250 GTE. I've always thought that if I had to choose my favourite car of those I have owned it would be a toss up between it and the Dilambda. Probably be the 250 but don't tell Modestine! :o Robin.
