Failing that is there a drawing of the tool required so I can make one. Tools are available through the club tool hire, if you look in the back of 'Viva Lancia' you will find the contact details for Tim Heath (Lancialulu), you'll need the puller as well. Not sure what the problem is but felt a bit of vibration under braking. Might as well sort all niggles whilst the subframe is out. In hindsight I should have loosened the hubs prior to removing the subframe but we live and learn, will get 4 mates to stand on each corner to keep it down! Thanks again for all your help. I have learnt that before returning tools, it might be wise to retorque the hubnuts, to ensure they really are still nice and tight.

Title: Re: Front hub removal tool Post by: lancialulu on 01 October, 2014, 11:24:34 AM Also if the front disks are worn down or warped or pads causing local corrosion when stood for a few years best to put new disks on. If skimmed make sure you do not go below min thickness.
Title: Re: Front hub removal tool Post by: andyford on 01 October, 2014, 07:50:23 PM Stripping parts down in anticipation of the arrival of the tools from Tim and decided to look at the nuts, one looks fine but the nearside one looks as if a quality bodger has been having a go at trying to loosen it. May prove a challenge getting this one off. I do hope that it is not so damaged that you are not able to remove the nut. Are new nuts available? It would seem that is what you need. You may weld something onto the old nut to get it off and then Throw It Away!!
