I wonder where this one will end up ...both location and price? P Title: Re: B20 5th series restoration project, in the USA - B20S-1380 Post by: Zetaman on 20 February, 2015, 11:13:27 AM I have this car recorded in my Register from 1977. My notes say:
1977: Original colour red with black leather interior, 50,000 miles, floor-change, Nardi carbs. Had crash to RH side front & a wing bought from B20-3902 to repair 1976-1977: Grant White, San Jose, California, USA [PM letter] 1970-1976: Chris Christopherson, San Francisco, USA [PM letter] The registration was USA: CTJ-348 (California) The engine was: B20.4802 with B24 cylinder heads It would seem the car has been left for a very long time. I met Grant White at least once in the UK in the 1970s and he was a really nice guy. He had bought another B20 in Bristol and I think also had a Bugatti. I understand from the American Club that he may have died, but I never fully confirmed this. Chris Christopherson - yes I think it is him! I wish I could find my old Flavia and Fulvia jacks - they seem to be worth a fortune if you say they are for a Ferrari!

Off subject , but I was trying to sell a windscreen wiper motor to someone in California with a B24 Spyder and he said he didn't need it because he'd had the car 16 years and had never used the wipers ......
