Title: HMV Lancia van
Post by: BlueSky on 12 May, 2015, 11:16:25 PM
I'm sure I've seen this photo before but can't remember where. I found it looking through the fantastic Google tour of the Abbey Road Studios.

I don't know my Lancia commercials very well so can anyone shed some light on what the van is and any further history? My guess is it's a Pentaiota chassis. The ML1003 rego number is London 1926-27.

A direct link to the photo is here:

Go on Frank, tell us - what's the answer? Where is it?

I honestly don't know. I was just throwing out a challenge. I doubt it's St Albans because I think that is Norman or early Gothic. Also the detail running up from the Lancia's near side front wing almost looks Victorian so is it even a Cathedral?
