Title: Grale Evo hub bushes Post by: Evo1 on 20 June, 2015, 01:04:36 PM Does anyone know how to remove the rear hub to trailing arm bushes, had a go today with the usual large sockets and threaded bar with no luck :'(, do you need to heat the hub up on these?
Title: Re: Grale Evo hub bushes Post by: Dikappa on 21 June, 2015, 08:43:08 AM Most of the times I succeed to get the rubber out with the 'large socket/piece of tube and treaded bar trick', but leave the outer bush in situ. I then mount my iron saw with the blade through the hole and cut the outer bush, thus freeing it.

I was thinking along the same lines in removing it as it certainly wont come out with the current method, did you manage to wind in the new bush with the same method, a sochet that was the same size as the steel casing and how easy/difficult is it to get the new one back in, i assume garages would have removed the hub and used a hydraulic press?
