Thanks Peter, I did see your name on the list but couldn't find it when I looked on the list today, There's also an integrale on the list, and Howard's Lambda is running the hill. He was treated to a big 'Boo; from the crowd. Spoke to Pete Loftus with his lovely Fulvia 1600HF sport, I saw the integrale in the display in the paddock, and up the hill behind the stand was a Flaminia GT which I assume was Dave 'D's. Lots of cars from an A35 Van upwards runnig the hill, as well as the motorbikes. The two that really stood out was a Chain Gang Fazer Nash that holds a lot of Hill climb Records, and the Tesla P85D, what a machine! 3.1 to 60mph and went like stink, as did the BMW electric Sports car. Besides the Hill there's lots to see and do. A seat in the stands is also very reasonable at £5 for the morning session and £5 for the afternoon, even better you don't have to book. This is what I'd like to do http://www.evrent.co.uk/rental/gift-vouchers/ Funny enough the test report I've read says the the tyre noise is intrusive but only because it is so quite, it was interesting that the one at Kop seemed to have an artificial exhaust note, but not very loud! The demo had a pair of rear facing seats in the boot. I see a few at Bluewater as the car park I like has a row of fast chargers. They are still a rare sight on the road, perhaps one a month. David |
