Love the hats, the quintessential driving accessory for any lady (or gent).

I'm watching it very closely ;) but I think I already have it somewhere, lovely picture, not wishing to upset anyone but I think everything was much more stylish in those days.
And I used to love seeing Ladies wearing hats, so elegant.
For information for those who are not into Fulvia Berlinas, it's A Normale or some call it a 1c, the very first of all the Fulvia's, the recognition point is the overriders, never carried over to 2C

Couldn't agree more Brian,

A lady in a hat always looks so elegant,  so......

.......sophisticated and ......

...dignified. Yep, that's the word, dignified.

Margaret has always loved wearing hats.

Here at 2007 Le Mans 24hr Race in the cavalcade procession through the streets of Le Mans in Modestine prior to the race. The guy shouting in the background is wanting to buy the hat!

Robin.

I bought the ebay picture which is a good quality scan of an original factory photo if you want a copy Brian.
I have only just returned from my travels and opened the envelope but what is especially interesting is the background. Jacky informs me that it cant be Italian because of the plantings which are very un-Italian and in the background the drapes in the house window look N European. So when and where was the photo taken I wonder?

Thanks Chris,
I'd certainly appreciate a copy of it please.
Daffodils and Magnolia, the house doesn't look Italian either, my guess would be probably France or Holland.

OK, will do when I next get the scanner out.
I get confused as to which model Fulvia Sedan had overriders from new but no additional badge on the grille. Is it the Normale with 1 carb?
I also bought the reprint of the lhd 4th Series B20 photo with the two women, one smoking, beside a river presumably in Turin.
Interesting that there are no men in the photo. Its as if Lancia were targeting women for the B20 back in the day.
I put a picture up when I scan yours.
Chris

Thanks Chris.
Yes the Normale with the twin choke downdraught was the only Fulvia Berlina fitted with overriders they were also fitted to early flavia berlinas, so they were a carry over to Fulvia, there was a set on my donor car but it got scrappred without my knowledge before I had the chance to remove them with the bumpers, and other useful mechanical bits that I had intended offering FOC to any Normale owner, not realising at the time though there weren't any left here in the UK.

Here is the 4th Series B20 photo showing 2 women, one smoking. Any idea of the location and was there other Aurelia factory publicity specifically aimed at women? Or maybe it isn't a factory photo?

Hi Chris,
Looks like it was taken across the river from the Velantino Park, a popular place for  Lancia publicity shots.

If you want to sell a car to a man, you put a woman in the publicity photo!
