11am Meet at Betacar for refreshments and to buy spares! http://www.betacar.co.uk/ There then will be a drive in convoy for lunch commencing 1.15pm at the Old Glen House, Prod Lane, Shipley Glen, Baildon, West Yorkshire BD17 5BN. http://www.oldglenhouse.co.uk/index.html The menu is as follows: Christmas Menu 2007 Warm salad of flash grilled ribeye strips and blue stilton, balsamic caramel. Classic cocktail of prawns and crispy bacon, marie rose, mixed leaves. Chargrilled chicken breast on a sweet chilli salad. White wine cream risotto of wild mushrooms, topped with wild rocket. xxxxx Chicken breast fillet with chestnut stuffing and wrapped in bacon, fondant potato, fresh thyme jus. Pan roast salmon fillet with spring onion mash, wilted spinach and a prawn and dill cream. Chargrilled ribeye of beef, wholegrain mustard mash, wild mushroom and garlic cream. Tagliatelle of roasted vegetables with chestnuts and vine tomatoes, finished with mixed salad and parmesan. xxxxx Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce. Vanilla crème brulee and a shortbread biscuit. Sherry trifle with fresh fruit. Warm chocolate fondant, cream and berries. xxxxx Freshly brewed coffee and homemade petit fours.
