Any opinions on the best rear dampers for S2/3?

DeCarbons definately. If you can get the "performance" this is the best. They are being manufactured again (in Eastern Europe somewhere) but I have heard that the Performance damper they sell is the standard one in a Performance Box! Be careful.....

Confirms what I thought. Original is best. What do you mean by performance version and how does it compare to the standard?

I have had SPAX adjustable's on for years,  set mid way. very happy with them 

I am a fan of Spax for the front of Fulvias set c1/3 from hard. I have always had DeCarbons on the rear of Fulvias by choice so cannot comment on differences but as Spax are a good gas strut so could be better than the new supply of DeCarbons.

Have emailed Cavallito. Omicron only sell Konis.

I have seen a Bilstein listing on Ebay.it for the Fulvia, so have emailed Bilstein direct. Bilsteins would be a great alternative to DeCarbons, but not convinced they have Fulvia dampers.

If non of the above I'll go with Spax, as recommended.

My car currently has different dampers on each side at the rear. I think the LH is original, and still works okay. The RH is random make and not pressurized. Explains the slight diagonal pitching of car.
Unfortunately it doesn't explain the lopsided ride height as the springy damper is fitted to the lower side.

Just as an update.
Cavallito supplied some lovely new DeCarbon "performance" dampers. Not sure how long they are going to be available for.
My car still had its original DeCarbon on one side, which actually seemed to work okay. On the other side was a Spica. This was a non pressurised damper and probably explains the diagonal pitching when pressing on a bit.

Fitted these to original rear springs that I rebuilt and some new tyres. Car is lovely and smooth now.
