Title: Single seater with Aurelia engine Post by: Sebastien on 22 June, 2017, 09:03:06 AM On Sunday, July 2nd, the French house Artcurial will hold an auction in Monaco.
A single seater with Aurelia engine and transaxle, the Paronzini, will be offered (lot 197) http://www.artcurial.com/fr/asp/fullCatalogue.asp?salelot=M1030++++197+&refno=20003643 The auction house calls it a Lancia Aurelia Paronzini, which it clearly is not. It only uses the engine (from a B21, but prepared) and gearbox from an Aurelia, everything else is either homemade, or sourced from other marques, especially the front suspension (Alfa Romeo). One could have some fun with it, but where? That car might be difficult to register for the road.... and in which class can you use it on the track? The estimate is a reasonable (?) 25 - 35.000 EUR. That sale also has the "usual" Lancia fare, Aurelia B20, B24, Flaminia Touring and Sport. It looks like Artcurial is sourcing its Lancias mostly in Italy. The B24 (french papers) is clearly well used. Title: Re: Single seater with Aurelia engine Post by: GG on 22 June, 2017, 12:46:18 PM Double wishbone rear suspension. I wonder if it was original?

It’s a shame who built it couldn’t join the 2 and have the clutch on the fly wheel. At least it would look more in proportion and be more agile
