Title: New Aprilia petrol pumps Post by: simonandjuliet on 18 October, 2017, 08:30:34 AM I am looking at remaking Aprilia petrol pumps using a design/manufacturer that I have been successfully using on the Appias for a while
Is anybody interested in one if I can make them for less than £50 each ? I would like to retain the original style, ie banjo connection with the possibility of refitting the side-fitting filter as well. However, you can see that it fits well alongside the original style filter. The inlet side is slightly higher , but the more important outlet is correct (+/- a couple of mm). I have shown an original pump/filter alongside for comparison - you could even change the Phillips screws for slotted screws to look even better ! There was an error with the initial batch and they had to be remade. I have checked each one today and they look good ..... I will be in touch with everyone who ordered one (or more) in the next couple of days |
