Title: £6500 Montecarlo - a record? Post by: lee69 on 07 January, 2008, 03:08:31 PM I'm sure many of the regulars on here check eBay now and again (if only to dream...), so you may know about the Montecarlo that's not met its reserve, but still reached £6458 with 29 bids. It's an 82 black Spider, one lady owner from new and 21,000 on the clock. Is this a record for a Monte and an indictaion of a pick up in values - or just a fair price for what looks like a timewarp example? I'm not surprised at the JC Beta ... apart from the fame on one TV programme ... it's a wreck! What could you do with it ? Probably not able to drive it anywhere and you've got to get it over here. I could see it as a useful addition to a club stand perhaps (for a limited time). I don't think you'd get JC to come and get his piccy taken with it tho :) Title: Re: £6500 Montecarlo - a record?
