What price unobtanium? I always wondered if these were standard equipment but their scarcity suggests they may have been an option that was rarely taken up.

A small batch of modern LED equivalents and suitable replaceable rechargeable batteries would be ideal...  can you get custom made torches made?

Another non-member torch for sale has contacted me  at £100 non working but in good visual condition. Like all that I have seen the script is very Beta like.

Just noticed that according to my 1966 Fulvia 2c handbook it states.
"Plug in socket, for use should it be necessary, of portable lamp, razor etc"
So it seems it wasn't only the torch that was available.
Perhaps there was a plug available at the time, the equivalent today being the cigarette lighter/accessory plug?
