Looking for a Fulvia
« on: 13 August, 2018, 11:45:21 AM »
Hi all,
New member, and hopefully future Lancia owner ... I'm  looking to make the move from British (Triumph Stag) to Lancia Fulvia. The search has begun and  I'm ideally looking for a series 2  in the 10-15k price range . I'm based in Bromley , Kent , but am willing to travel for the right car.  Am doing the usual Classic & Car + ebay thing , but am keen to cover all bases .
Many thanks

Hi Steve,

I can't help you with the search (it was me the posted the previous "wanted" message looking for a 2000 Coupe) but as I'm also a new member I just wanted to say hi.

In fact I'm based in Greenwich so not far from you. If I do get any leads/replies that might be helpful for your search, I'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks, Michael.

Hi Steve,
I know you're looking for a 2000 Coupe, but could you be interested in 2000 Berlina coming up for Auction at Brightwell'at Leominster next month.
Lovely condition and not silly money, and they are very capable.
Look at Lancia's seen in the press.
Otherwise if I see anything I'll let you know
Does it have to be Rhd?

Hey Brian,

In fact I'm the one looking for a 2000 Coupe. Steve is looking for a Fulvia.

Thanks for the reply. The Berlina is nice but it's really a 2000 Coupe I'm after (and also a RHD) - http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=10550.0

Thanks, Michael.

Sorry about that Michael,
I would point out that by not considering a LHD 2000 Coupe you are severely limiting your options as there's only 11 listed in the LMC Register of cars and their owners, but how many of those are not on the road I don't know.
Whereas you'll find a lot more abroad, many probably in better condition bodily than might be the case in the UK.
Although getting it back here might ber a bit of a trial!

Not a bad price for a runner with potential considering a good 1.3 coupe will now cost
£14-15k.
