Hi. I'm looking for an original distributor for a series 1 1.6HF.
I replaced the setup that it had with a 123 unit, but it seems to be getting through spark plugs at an alarming rate, so I'd be keen to put it back to standard. It had the dizzy and coil from a Fiat 124 Spider on it when I first got it (which seems to be nearly identical to that used on an 037), but it seemed to cause severe pinking on the Fulvia. The 123 has cured that side of things. The Lusso that I had until recently also had a 123 and that also got through (D8EA) plugs.

Hello Justin. Sorry but I do not have a Marelli 139A distributor available. However I do have several sets of NGK D8EV plugs available (palladium tipped) or the 'hotter' D7EV (best for worn bores or valve guides). In my experience they will almost last for ever, irrespective of the gap. £25 +P&P for four. Send pm in interested. Regards -
