Hi, Has anyone got a working, spare trico vacuum operated washer bottle vacuum pump that they would consider selling?
Its for a 1961 Flaminia
Thanks Chris

It may be more like this from a '62 Berlina, though I have a feeling some other models had a round bottle rather than one with one flat side.

Thanks for all your comments. I don't need the whole unit (glass jar, lid, vacuum chamber), its just the brass vacuum chamber - or whatever its called.
See diagram attached.
Anyone know if it's possible to open up the vacuum chamber (reservoir) without damaging it, to renew the diaphragm?
Thanks

Yes Tim, it is vacuum operated though seems more complicated than the new replacements, perhaps because it links into more systems. The screen wash button also activates a vacuum servo that automatically switches on the wipers.

In case anyone's interested, I've found instructions online on how to service the Trico vacuum pump (servo?) that's fitted to Touring Flaminias:

Tim, Any tips on making it a smooth exercise beyond what's on the online instructions?

I am sure I wrote it up in May 2019 VL with home made diaphragm (which did not last so had to do it all again with the correct rubber ).

Interestingly the Berlina seems to have been fitted with the Trico "co-ordinated washer system" as fitted to 1956-58 Cadillacs. There is a good write up on it here though Lancia have it fitted to the metal lidded glass bottle rather than a square plastic tank. http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=20011
