I'm looking for an alternative paint code for Azzurra Mexico, a bright sky blue.
I have a code MM7116, but my local paint suppliers don't go back that far,
It's for a 1970 Fulvia.

Anyone know anything

 Many thanks

see attached - Azzurro Mexico aka Azzurro HF aka Azzurro Mexico HF, ignore variations in colours shown due to scanning old colour charts etc.

sheesh - that's a pretty good listing of this color. Have you done this for others?

Geoff, can do it for most colours, I only do it when requests appear - do you have any particular colour requirement? Rgds - Colin.

Hi Colin (didn't know this was you!) -

I was curious because Paul Mayo has also been working on a color index, and was also impressed at the "cross- manufacturer" aspects of yours. Nicely done.

Have no pressing needs at the moment, but glad to know this is possible. For a long time, had difficulties getting from Max Meyer to Lechler. Do you know if anyone has run the Lechler "newer paints" and how they match up to the older original ones? It was said they did a lot of research to match the older paints, but I've never seen a sample, as they are not generally available in the US. At one time a few of us were thinking the Clubs should get together and make a sample set of the Lechler colors for members reference, but it never went anywhere (too hard to get done, no one wants it until that moment, etc...).

Anyway, thanks for your post, great to see.

This colour question comes up so frequently that is surely must be a worthy project for the club to take forward. I don't have the concentration or technical background to lead a project but I am certainly obsessive enough to help.

I put a fairly comprehensive list of colours, codes, samples and pics for the Fulvia a while ago. I'm sure its not perfect but its a start. Its one of the newer posts in the technical section
