couldnt really see the advantage myself until i bought it, we get alot of runflat and ultra low profile tyres in these days 18>22inch with 45>30 profile , nightmare on an old type machine but they just weren't designed to fit them just modified along the way, this machine is purpose built and makes the job so easy, myself and apprentice had a little race, he claimed the new machine was slow so we both started at them same time, at the end of the job he was knackered , sweat pouring of his face whilst i was busy chatting away to a customer using 1 finger to fit the tyre + i beat him, yes it does appear slow compared to a semi auto machine because the opperater is just standing there watching but its actually conciderably faster   Grin , hopefully taking delivery of a new chair and kettle to go along side it so  i can be comfortable at work  Wink did some 295-35-19 bridgestone runflats the other day on it, i wouldnt even had attempted these on the older machine and none of us could believe how easy they were to fit, my only concern as with all tyre machines now is that its built in ITAY, lots of electronics to break!!! crazy really, snap on is american, hofmann is their german equipment department but they make it in italy  Huh?
