I have been advised by the daughter of the owner that she has put a 63 Flavia Vignale on ebay.  She is very keen for this to go to an enthusiast for the marque.  An extract from her messages to me:

"I am selling on behalf of my parents, a lancia Flavia Vignale RHD1963 Convertible. In need of complete restoration. I thought this may be of some interest to your members as I am aware that this car is rare. My parents bought it many years ago from a disused barn. However my father has never got around to restoring it. I have put the item on ebay under the ID th0ma5. However should any of your members be interested in the car, i am happy to email pictures ect."

Then subsequently:

"The car has only been on ebay an hour and there is so much interest already! However we would much prefer it to find a home with someone who has a keen interest in Lancias."

If you are interested contact Rebecca Bennett on rebeccabennett06 (at) btinternet.com.  I also have her phone number if needed, which I will pass on individually.

What was the name of that film? "None but the Brave" would seem very appropriate here Shocked

I presume that it had some form of cover on it, otherwise the council would surely have slapped an enforcement oirder on it! Nevertheless it has already attracted some bidders.

I love the bit that missing parts are easily available from a coupe or saloon!
Anyway looks in better nick than the other one, although all things are relative!
