Looks like it's been snapped up - BIN price seemed very reasonable.

If this car and perhaps others are not as described then maybe the VL ads section will become more populated and avoid the risk  to some extent of misleading descriptions by non members.I suppose one reason members are exploring external avenues is the lack of VL ads and  wonder if LMC members perceive little value in placing an ad

According to the 2011 Register the owner in question is a current member, although I can't see the car listed.

Interesting - the description was pretty much polish it up and drop a rebuilt engine in. It appears others know differently? Either way it sold quickly to someone (a member?)

My understanding is it needs a LOAD of work to bring it up to scratch. Not very gentlemanly to slag it off in public so if anyone is seriously interested in it, I would advise giving Alan Wesson at Western Lancia a call, or drop me a PM and I can relay what I know.

Important to note the car is not affiliated to Alan Wesson at all. The only connection is he did a wheel arch repair on it a couple of years ago, and it has never moved from his premises since.

His wheel arch repair is still fine by the way!
