Thank you to everyone who was involved in the organisation and implementation of the AGM.
I only managed to make a day trip on Saturday, but it was immediately evident that a lot of professionalism and a huge amount of effort had been put into a hugely enjoyable day. The venue was great, easy to access and plenty of space for those who had arrived in a Lancia and also for mere mortals like me who had arrived in an 'other'!!!!!
The AGM was interesting with several well made points and observations. The talk by Giovanni Virgilio was both illuminating and entertaining (note to self, MUST go to Fobello!!) and the book has gone from my 'wants' list to my 'must have' list.
Thank you again to everyone involved, I am more determined than ever to get my B20 finished and also to solve my Appia knock!!
Andy
PS does anyone know of a RHD Flaminia Touring for sale, what a beautiful car!!

Many thanks to all those who helped make for a truly great Lancia weekend. Yes, it was sad that there were so few cars on display but those that were on show were much appreciated by members and public alike. The hotel (apart from the lamentable lack of bar staff and high prices) was very good and the Italian visiting speakers an excellent choice. The attached photo is a JPEG of the Gala Dinner Menu front cover by Mark Lima which of course blew me away! All in all most enjoyable although Modestine was a bit of a naughty girl once or twice, particularly on the journey home. Robin.

It would have been worth going to the dinner just to get the menu!!! Mark, that is an absolutely stunning piece of artwork.

Great set of photos - in particular the house and gardens - for all the "words" about it within a couple of pictures I was blown away by the scale and quality of the place.
The red Fulvia Zagato was my favourite. Good to see a Beta Coupe looking good in brown - its time has come.
Stunning artwork on the menu. I've yet to go to a dinner, including the one when I was due to collect a trophy from Sir Stirling Moss. This one was in ink in the calendar until a 25th wedding celebration with me as "designated driver" trumped it.
The talk and slide show at the AGM itself was an unexpected benefit and I for one would enjoy that sort of thing again. It was also a privilege to finally meet Jack Romano, I'd hoped to come up the Friday night (but failed...) so it was a delight to find him still there.

Thank you Frank. And that's just one of many "buckets" But maybe I should rationalise my buckets and get rid of old office pictures and building refurbishment photos and have "car only" buckets

A huge thank you to all involved in putting together this years AGM, the guest speakers were brilliant. My first AGM I bought my 2 boys along (2 & half / 9 months old) their first introduction to the club and the great cars that are Lancia. Here is the Facebook link to Tony Harrison superb picture album where he captured most if not all of the cars present. Nice one Tony! https://www.facebook.com/tony.harrison.9250595/media_set?set=a.10152249640517825.1073741853.576052824&type=1

For once I wasn't the one in the 1300 Beta Coupe. Pity I missed it, is the owner of YEG738T here on the Forum? Do you know that there are potentially only four or five left in the UK?

Fantastic weekend. Many many thanks to all you guys who put it together. Nice to see Jack on Saturday. Great to meet so many people and put faces to names. Thanks also to Tony Harrison for the great pics. I've taken the liberty of using the one of my Beta Spyder on my forum id. Hope you don't mind Tony, it's better than any I've taken! These meetings always get the enthusiasm going again. Hope to have my newly acquired Beta Coupe 2000 mot'd next week.
Excellent speakers on Saturday although the ladies on our table seemed a bit bemused with the after dinner speakers. I think they got it a little bit after some explanations.
Kind regards to all Derek Moore
