On an S2 LHD Appia engine is it possible to remove (and refit) the starter motor with the engine in the car? Even after removing the LH engine support it looks as if there is minimal or zero room to extract the motor. How far can the engine be raised? Thanks, Andrea

Not so sure about a LHD car but it is doable with a RHD car. If you undo both mountings and jack the engine up it will probably come up about 40mm. Possibly removing the dynamo will free up some space. Can any LHD owners help out?
