John, my thoughts entirely !!!!!!!!
Bit of lateral thinking having just read about the 3D Stratos model. What about a buck produced by a 3D printer over which one could make panels. The handcrafted element is still there whilst using computer power to do the initial part. I struggled here for the right adjective, is making the buck 'difficult', 'boring', 'the legwork', 'tedious', or, is the buck the 'critical', 'fundamental', 'challenging', 'most important' part? Pure cowardice, I used initial. It does seem to me there are two ways of looking at the buck, possibly a mere tool or former, or is it the elemental part and simply stretching a sheet metal skin over it is 'just the easy bit to produce a panel'
?
