Managed to convince Margaret to let me buy them as it would be easier to sell KPD with a set of replacement doors! Robin.

Collected the doors yesterday and very pleased with them. Only appears to be light surface rust in the usual places and no holes
A bonus was that being from a lhd car there is a mirror on the passenger side which matches mine on the driver's door, something Margaret has been asking for since we bought the car.
Robin.

Good buy Robin, must admit I was tempted, just a case of wondering where I'd keep them as spares! Brian 8227

Who is the Sport owner (another acquisition Robin) No, not mine. It belongs to local to me club member Ron Skinner. He was coming to visit on a warm sunny day recently having just got his car back on the road (cylinder head gasket) and he suffered the brake locking on problem http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5484.0I managed to get the car here by cracking the connections at the master cylinder thus freeing the brakes and will adjust the actuating rod which I hope will cure the problem. The car has a number of bits and pieces that need sorting out but is in pretty good overall condition considering that it was some 17 years ago when my son Jonathan rebuilt it. Photographs are of Ron's Sport with my 2c at the Goodwood Track Day 1997 Robin.

can i just ask as i've got rear doors to remove on a berlina S2, do the doors come off via the 8 screws that are in the B pillar? or do you remove the hinge pins? only ask as the inner of the screws are masked somewhat by the door itself so getting an impact driver in there isn't easy.
just thought i'd ask before damaging the original paint
kev.

From my limited experience of these things, I think it would be unwise to undo the bolts that locate the hinges - they would have been set up very carefully originally and it might be a pig to re-set them. Knocking out the pins is, I think, the best way to go.

Hi Colin. Thanks for the reply. I think you're right about that, the doors shut so well now it would take a bit of fiddling to get them right again. If I can get the hinge pins moving then that could well be the best/easiest solution.
