Grale Evo hub bushes

Does anyone know how to remove the rear hub to trailing arm bushes, had a go today with the usual large sockets and threaded bar with no luck , do you need to heat the hub up on these?

Most of the times I succeed to get the rubber out with the 'large socket/piece of tube and treaded bar trick', but leave the outer bush in situ.  I then mount my iron saw with the blade through the hole and cut the outer bush, thus freeing it.

Has worked several times this way.

I was thinking along the same lines in removing it as it certainly wont come out with the current method, did you manage to wind in the new bush with the same method, a sochet that was the same size as the steel casing and how easy/difficult is it to get the new one back in, i assume garages would have removed the hub and used a hydraulic press?

To help refitting, can you freeze one or other piece to make it smaller ?

When on car as far as I recollect Always cmanaged to get the new busches in with the threaded bar method.  Off car I cuse the workshop hydraulic press.

Thanks to both of you who provided advice, hadnt realy thought about freezing the new bush, will probably freeze the bush and heat the hub and see how things go
