Amici della Lambda: Fobello 2016

Plans are being developed for celebrating the anniversary of Vincenzo Lancia’s first drive of the prototype Lancia Lambda on the Moncenisio pass in 1921.

On the 1st September 2016 Lancia Lambdas from around the world will drive over the Moncenisio pass and on to Varallo.

On the Saturday they will drive up Via Vincenzo Lancia to Fobello where there will be a lunch for Lambda owners at the invitation of the Lancia Family and Valsesia Lancia Story at La Monta.
 
An alpine tour in Switzerland with an opportunity for driving Lambdas over interesting passes and in beautiful valleys is being arranged for the following week, 5th to 9th September 2016.
 
A detailed programme and itinerary and booking requirements are being finalised and will be made available this autumn via the Lambda World Register.

Every 5 years there is a celebration of Vincenzo Lancia’s first drive of the prototype Lancia Lambda on the Moncenisio pass in 1921. For the 95th anniversary on the 1st September 2016 Lancia Lambdas will drive from Lanslebourg over the Moncenisio pass and on to Varallo. Over 25 Lambdas from Europe, Australia and USA have already booked, so it will be a proper celebration of Vincenzo’s Capolavaro the Lambda
 
A full programme is being arranged with the Lancia Family and Valsesia Story for our time in Varallo. The high point will be the drive on Saturday 3rd up Via Vincenzo Lancia to Fobello where there will be a lunch for Lambda owners at La Monta, at the invitation of the Lancia Family and Valsesia Lancia Story. There will also be a chance to visit the excellent Lancia Museum in the old school house.
