Hello All - I hope everybody had an enjoyable Christmas.

I plan to remove my original S2 Coupe steering wheel to refurbish it, and am considering fitting a Mountney 15" semi-dished 3-spoke alloy wheel as a temporary replacement.

I have found some good forum threads on how to refurbish the existing wheel, but was wondering if anybody has any hints on how to remove it.  Are any special tools involved?

Also, does anybody have any tips on fitting the new wheel?  I assume I'll need some form of boss/adaptor but am not sure where to look for this.

As always, any help will be gratefully received.

Cheers, Norm Thomas (Ormskirk, Lancashire)

From time to time e-bay has bosses for Mountney wheels. It's worth checking out if one is listed if only to establish a general price.
