A friend of mine took this photo of our GTE last Spring and I think it's very evocative of the factory photos of the time hence the title of the post. It's not just the car and the setting but also the Italian light which makes a big difference. The setting is at the front of Villa Saraceno, a local Palladian Villa owned and run by the wonderful Landmark Trust just down the road where we had 'a bit of a do' over a weekend. We also used the accommodation at Villa dei Vescovi in our hills which is also run by the Landmark Trust for overspill guests. Both properties are very atmospheric and reasonably priced if fully occupied. The car is totally standard apart from the 2nd wing mirror, the electric washers and the 50 mm Fulvia 1.3 Coupe central exhaust section which is a little noisier but breathes better. All Fulvia Sedans whatever engine size or series had 40 mm diameter exhausts and the rear bend in the 'up and over' section at the rear of the centre section differs between the sedans and the coupe.

Great photo Chris, would have been even better with a bit of Palladian architecture in the background.
For those who like Andrea's work I would also recommend Villa Maser near Montebelluna, and of course Vicenza where his statue is.
