One was the upper water manifold coming in at €2180 and secondly gave me an example of a new sliding pillar at €5000. He then went on to say that certain nationalities bought them and others didn't!

He then expressed concerns about the quality of "repair" kits for parts needing new seals etc and that only one company in the USA made them to a high enough standard (as fitted in a new part) and the others invariably failed after a short period.

Hmm, sounds like Classic Lancia?

IMO sells the same junk as all the rest but at tripple the price.  His 'non vietnamese' bumbers are supposed to be thickker material and all that bla bla, but in the end they're just the same as all the rest (and please don't get me wrong, these bumpers are of a nice quality)
I guess I will be and remain  on his list of nationalities that do not buy from him....

I wonder how these Guy's stay in business....
