Great photos. Brings back happy memories - apart from that year when the Spitfire crashed on the circuit. I'm still trying to work out Justin's radiator. Can't quite see the size or position. Is it a fairly normal size squeezed down between the wing and the chassis leg?

Excellent weather made for a superb event particularly as it brought out lots of spectators. Just a shame that we could only stay until lunch time. Many thanks to Brian and Linda Mills and the team.

The Fanalone (yes, it is the ex Barry Waterhouse CUC 20H) is preforming so well now on the 45 Dellortos and subsequent rolling road session. Over 100mph indicated on the Lavent straight. Smiley
However, on the slowing down lap of Jonathan's run the solid bar between the accelerator cable and the carbs sheared in half. We increased the tick over and got back to the pits where with a kindly donated steel rod and cable ties a repair was effected allowing Robin to have his yearly dose of adrenalin rush. Shocked

I'm going off brand here, but I went along to the Classic Alfa track day at Goodwood yesterday and was surprised by just how quiet it was.  Admittedly I was only there for the afternoon, but there couldn't have been any more than 10 cars in the pit lane at any one time and I didn't see any queuing up in the paddock.  Apparently it was busier in the morning.

Not that much variety on track but lots of glorious sights and noises.  My pictures are here if anybody is interested:

Very nice indeed. Always loved the little Bertone coupes. I've always found it interesting how Alfa and Lancia answered the same brief for a small 2+2 in two completely different ways in the Bertone coupe and Fulvia.
