I already have a 67 Fulvia abd have seen a 1966 Flavia Coupe advertised on Car and Classic. Please could anyone give advice on particular areas to look at if I decide to view. Thank you.

Make sure the engine is not doing the an impression of a steam loco as it will mean the head gasket is gone...also the brakes can give problems and the body will rust everywhere esp the front wheel arches where there is a double skinning thing going on....good luck

Thank you for your helpful comments and the excellent article is making me think about the difficulty of getting parts. Thanks again

I don't think of a Flavia as a difficult car to get parts for... Good support from consortium, "usual supplier in Norfolk", European stockists. Mechanically strong and (relatively...) straight forward. Lots of knowledge out there and special tools to loan etc.
Am off to read that article now.

Read the article - I suppose you COULD say that if (to pick a recent example from the forum) the window winder splines stripped its not a case of clicking "buy it now" and the part is with you the next morning. Its not an MGB. I think with Flavias people have held onto parts, stuff isn't being thrown away, and there are more spares stashes than cars still.
