Simple questions.
1. They look symmetrical to me but should the markings be on one side or the other?
2. Numbering from the front or Lancia?

They are symmetrical, so I think it's wise to put them in so that their numbers can be easily seen, i.e. towards the outside. Two round one way and two the other way. Remember that No 1 is front nearside and the firing order is clockwise as seen from above.
