Recommended Lancia Fulvia mechanic
« on: 17 March, 2020, 08:48:03 PM »
I recently purchased a  Fulvia Coupe  Rallye  for Historic classic rallying and I am looking for a local specialist who can help keep it rally prepared.

I am based between Dorking and Guildford, Surrey.  Can anyone recommend a Lancia specialist in my area.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations.  I have been using Richard Thorne but his garage is  not so convenient to get to.

Regards,

Paul

I would say Keith at Auto integrale as he builds rally cars and he was trained on Fulvias but he's in the same area as Richard.

Not used them but heard good things re Fulvia servicing and repair.
Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?

John Day was at Barry Waterhouse Engineering for a while.  I think with Shelt and Pettit before that.  Knows Fulvias inside out.  Best known (back in the day) for a Beta Coupe which you might almost call ModSports spec.  He built up a Montecarlo Gp 5 replica.  I know Ian Conway well still, John built and looked after a couple of Fulvias for him when he was racing.

David Laver, Lewisham.

Hi Paul

I have heard good things about Andy and Tom Cattani (father and son)...Gatwick area. They have rolling road and race/rally prep experience. Love Fulvias.
