Below are some answers that may help you with questions you have about the forum. If these don't cover your specific query, please e-mail me at
forum.admin@lanciamc.co.uk and I will try and answer your question as soon as practicable.
Q: Do I have to be a member of the LMC to post on the forum?A: Generally, yes. In order to post on the majority of the boards, you need to be a current member of the LMC. Non-members may be granted restricted membership if they have Lancia-related items to sell, as these may be of interest to club members. If this applies to you, please go through the registration process and then drop me an e-mail explaining your circumstances.
Q: How long does it take after I register for me to be able to post?A: Generally, I process applications every 2-3 days, although sometimes the delay can be up to 2 weeks when holidays or workload intrude. On confirmation of your application, you'll get an e-mail back confirming your account activation and at that point, you can participate fully in the forum.
Q: Why have you e-mailed me to ask for my membership number?A: I receive user IDs and e-mail addresses from the forum software, and check the e-mail addresses against those held in the membership database. If you use more than one e-mail address, it's possible I won't spot you in the database. In that case, I'll ask for your membership number as the easiest way to tally records.
Q: But what if I don't have it to hand? I've been a member for years and never needed to quote it...A: Don't panic! Just reply to my e-mail address with your name and postcode. I should be able to find you from that!
Q: I was late renewing and my account was suspended. I've now renewed. What do I need to do to re-activate my account?A: Please send me an e-mail with your membership number and I'll re-activate your account. There is no need to re-register.
