3C Bonnet badge
«
on:

As part of the restoration process of my 2.5 3C I purchased a new 3C badge for the bonnet.
The old badge is curved and the new one is flat, the supplier says all of these badges are made by the same company in Italy and they have had no similar issues.
If I try to bend it I suspect the enamel will crack, has anyone on the forum come across this problem?

Hi Julian,
I managed to bend it to a reasonable degree by squeezing it in the vice with a thick block of rubber on the face and various tubes on the back a little at a time, I can now see the slightest of marks on the front which is acceptable and time to stop, thanks for your help.
