Thanks for your prompt reply.
Yes, the car is now out of my hands because it was collected from me over two weeks ago and the insurance paid out to me a couple of days ago as a total loss for their full valuation of the car, so it now belongs to them, or Copart, I suppose, who are the salvage auctioneers. DVLA have now sent me the paperwork to show that I am no longer the owner.
My continued interest in the car, and the reason for contacting you and listing on ebay is that I would love for somebody to take it on and put it back on the road, and so I want to bring its presence on the Copart online auction site to the attention of any such parties.
I am sorry that I didn't do this previously, to allow more time for people to consider it, but, as I say, I only just got paid, and hadn't realised it had already been listed.
The current bid of £275 suggests not many people have yet noticed it, though the ebay listing has one watcher after 24 hours.
As I also mentioned, I have a number of HPE parts, which I will no longer need, but several of which the new owner most likely certainly might.
