La Vera Lancia!   RHD, in the old Lancia manner, but not a UK car, it appears.

MY LHD Appia was probably sold to a German buyer.

What's the process for that car as regards getting a UK registration?
Is it relatively straight-forward or a paperwork nightmare? And do you get an age appropriate number as it's pre letter/symbol age?
Guessing it's a recent import so an unknown history?
Does look a nice thing though, anybody know of it?

Perfectly straightforward, Kevin. Don't waste effort using the Italian registration documents - if it's not in English DVLA will reject it. Just get an authentication letter from the Club and all will be well; DVLA will issue an age-related number based on the year of manufacture - 84886 dates the car to mid-1961 so it should be issued with a non-suffix number.

Excellent, thanks Mike.
I'll keep my eye on it, will try and get a look at it beforehand as pictures don't always tell all the truth!
Appreciate your advice, Kev  8)

FYI... having to consider selling my silver s3 Appia berlina RHD in the spring as I am going to lose the storage/ garage.... great shame as it's been a brilliant car for me last 3 years.. done about 5000 miles !
Anyone interested can contact me directly before advertising it... it's in excellent overall condition ... a few marks on the bodywork , excellent interior.. serviced recently etc.

PS value very tricky to say ... 8 to 10k ?

If you are anywhere near south Oxfordshire I can offer space in a dry barn for storage.

Newbury actually... it's very kind ... don't want to sell !...it's a bit far really, as I do like to drive it regularly .. I am looking for a garage nearby atm, but would keep you in mind certainly !
Many thanks , I might advertise it within the club to start ... see what response I get.
