I'm on the cusp of committing to reupholster the seats in my Fulvia 3. The stitching has been patched a few times and the vinyl has torn in one place. The seat back foam isn't supportive.
This is a job I want to do so I'll need a supplier of leather or vinyl and of replacement foam. I have new seat base cushions from Giuseppe which are fine.
Could anyone recommend such a supplier? Any opinions on leather versus vinyl?
Thanks
Although not vinyl my leather look alike material in my Fulvia 2c is nearly 60 years old, it's still in excellent condition after 63,000 miles, 36,000 of them since 1999.the stiching went on one front cushion about 20 years ago, the other needs doing.
It often gets taken for leather and people are astonished when I tell them it's not.
But my foam on the front cushion need replacing, unfortunately the coupe replacement doesn't fit the Berlina seats, so it needs the attention of a trimmer at some point.
