The 2025 Season kicks off with the 24 hours of Daytona as per usual, Round 1 of the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship.
LMP2 cars will continue to feature in this Championship, the Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) and the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), but as in 2024 they will not appear in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), except for the 24 hours of Le Mans.
GT cars in all the above Championships are as last year, all GT3 spec.
Here is the 2025 Calendar with the continuing (and final) Rounds of the Asian Le Mans Series 2024-2025 Season (ALMS) and the start of the 2025-2026 Season at the Sepang International Circuit in mid-December.
I will draw your attention to Round 5 of the ELMS. For the first time in many a year we have a top-flight Prototype & GT race series back in the UK. If youre remotely interested in this type of motor race, please support this by attending it in person. Maybe that will result in getting a Round of the WEC back here in the UK too!
